I'm not sure how I came to find Robert Doisneau's photography for the first time, but I do know it was love at first sight.
Google him. Look for collected works. Find books with his photographs. Do whatever with this little piece of information but at least look. His photos are simple, beautiful, life. His best work was from taking a hand-held camera out onto the streets of Paris to capture the lives of ordinary people. He had a great eye for the extraordinary in the ordinary.
